Ahh...we had a fantastic time. The night was stormy but didn't stop us from having another great event!
Vie de Boheme was the perfect place, warm and welcoming. The Art Spark crowd is amazing, coming out when they can to meet and connect with other creative minded community.
Keith Lachowicz from the RACC's Public Art Department informed us of an open call for the
Portable Works Collection and the newest exhibit at the
Portland Building Installation Space,. Then our featured group of the evening
Create Plenty brought us a fun bingo game to engage dialogue around our sustainable practices and informed us of what they are up to and how we can be involved. They have a goal of making their International Quilt Project as big as the Aids Quilt Project--I love people having grand goals, hey why not shoot for the stars! And then (boy we had a lot going on!) we were so lucky to have the melodic jazz grooves of
Ben Darwish -Thank you Ben! Thank you everyone who came out to make new connections, rekindle old ones and find out about another awesome arts related organization in Portland; and just have a good time with others that think being creative is important to our lives! See you next time!
